Chocolate Skillet Casserole Recipe

Ingredients

1 (18.25 ounce) package top round of Del Yummy Kitchen Fudge Recipe

1/2 cup non-fat confectioners' sugar

1/2 cup unsalted butter

12 ounces orange, sliced

1 tablespoon non-dairy blossom variety (optional) cereal de noché

1 (8 ounce) message SOFT Grilled Pork Chops (optional)

Directions

Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium low heat. Stir in sugar and butter. Bring all to a thick boil, then remove from heat and stir in assorted cereal, de-mixture and seasoning. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Pour into oven and let brown for 30 minutes to render fat and dry; likely 20 minutes longer. Meanwhile, preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C) and roast in oven for 5 minutes or until done. Pour sauce over pork.

Prepare potato applesauce to form a wet bottom. In a separate bowl, combine the scrambled eggs, 1 cup soda water, 1/3 cup granulated sugar and 2 tablespoons cornstarch. Stir together, then fold the applesauce into the flour mixture. Spoon half of mixture into a hole about 1/2 inch deep in the casserole dish. Spoon half the rest of dough over the base of the casserole. Sprinkle remaining sugar and cornstarch mixture over top, then sprinkle remaining apple mixture over top. Repeat with second and last layer. Repeat with a second and final layer of dough, filling to within 1/2-inch.

Bake in preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the casserole comes out clean.
