1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
4 Eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon lemon extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon lemon zest
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Sprinkle butter over the bottom of a 9 inch springform pan.
In a medium bowl, cream together the brown sugar, flour, baking powder, pecans, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla, lemon extract, salt, baking soda and lemon zest. Mix well and pour mixture into crust.
Bake in preheated oven for 60 minutes, or until golden brown. Cool completely before removing from pan.
