Fruit Pie II Recipe

Ingredients

1/2 cup margarine

1 egg

1 (10 ounce) package frozen whipped topping, thawed

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed

1 (3 ounce) package instant frozen fruit spread mix

1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

In a medium saucepan, heat margarine over medium heat. Remove from heat, and stir in egg. Pour in whipped topping. Stir in cream cheese, fruit spread, fruit spread mix, and whipped topping. Remove from heat, and gently stir in vanilla. Spread cream cheese mixture evenly over pie crust.

Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes. Remove from oven, and allow to cool completely. Reserve 8 tablespoons butter to top pie. Refrigerate pie for at least 20 minutes before serving. Serve chilled or chilled.

This was really good. I used frozen vegetables instead of takeout and ended up with great results. My husband loved them and he could have put them in the fridge any time he wanted but he didn't want to delay eating them. I will make this time and time again.
