Cajun Crab Cook's Pie Recipe

Ingredients

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup white sugar

4 tablespoons Cajun seasoning

2 teaspoons paprika

3 tablespoons prepared horseradish

2 pounds fresh Cajun-style crabmeat

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

In a medium bowl, mix the cream cheese, sugar, Cajun seasoning and paprika. Mix in the crabmeat. Spread in a 9-inch pie pan.

Bake in preheated oven for 60 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 10 minutes.

I loved this bread pudding. It was so simple and such a lovely presentation. I wanted more of it, but was afraid to cut down the sugar too much as I don't like sweets. But I was afraid of the sugar cookie crust crumbling under the pressure of the milk. Nope, not at all. It is absolutely gorgeous.
