This was superb. I improved upon many of the steps above with the exception of only using flour when making the coating. I found that wrapping the roll of Quince would help a ton but I still wrap it in foil or plastic wrap and when I take it out I smother it in the sugar and butter so it's really nice and stays nice and soft.
