1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup white sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
1 teaspoon dried sage
1 teaspoon dried sage, crushed
1 teaspoon dried tarragon
1 teaspoon dried oregano
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Cut the butter into the flour with a pastry blender. Mix in sugar, salt, pepper, rosemary, sage, tarragon and oregano. Spread onto flat foil-lined baking sheets.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes in the preheated oven, or until browned. Drain excess fat on paper towels.
