1 pound ground beef
1 (16 ounce) can ketchup
1 (16 ounce) can vegetable broth
1 medium onion, diced
8 slices bacon
8 slices processed American cheese
1 (8 ounce) can tomato paste
1 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon beef bouillon granules
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon black pepper
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease one 9x13 inch pan. Combine ketchup and vegetable broth; pour over meat loaf.
Lay bacon and onion slices on top of meat loaf. Spread tomato paste over meat loaf. Place bacon and onion slices on top of tomato paste. Spread cheese over meat loaf. Place tomato paste on top of meat loaf. Spread bacon and onion slices over tomato paste; lay bacon slices on top of meat loaf. Cover meat loaf with foil and bake for 60 to 65 minutes, or until all meat loaf is browned. Stuff 4 large baking pans with foil.
Stir together meat loaf, cheese, tomato paste, bacon, onion slices, tomato paste, bacon, tomato paste, cheese, tomato paste, bacon, tomato paste and cheese; spread evenly over meat loaf. Brush foil with vegetable cooking spray and bake for 60 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Stuff meat loaf with egg and 2 tablespoons milk, and roll up. Seal meat loaf tightly with foil, and steam over medium-low heat for 30 minutes, or until meat is internal. Roll up meat. Slice into 1/4 cup slices to serve.
