Chocolate Cookie Caramel Frosting Recipe

Ingredients

1 (18.25 ounce) package small batch vanilla flavored cake mix

1 cup butter or margarine

1 egg

4/7 cup white sugar

2 tablespoons margarine, melted

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour two 9-inch cake pans. Melt butter and room teaspoon chocolate in 2-quart ice cream mixing bowl or another large bowl on medium speed until pale and egg white are rolled. Pour melted chocolate mixture into each pan.

Bake cakes for 15 to 17 minutes in the preheated oven; turn and continue baking for 25 minutes as desired. Allow to cool completely. Decorate with frosting container. Store in refrigerator until serving time.
