1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 cups white sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 egg
1 cup milk
4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1 cup milk
2 tablespoons butter, softened
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Beat butter, sugar, and vanilla in medium bowl. Stir milk into egg mixture and mix thoroughly. Stir flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon into egg mixture and mix thoroughly. Mix milk with chopped walnuts and chocolate chips; stir. Pour milk mixture into prepared pan. Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes, stirring after 1 minute. Cool completely. Beat cream cheese mixture into whipped cream.
Beat cream cheese mixture into whipped cream until stiff. Serve within 30 minutes of serving. Generously butter frost tops of cookies. Frost bottom of small cookie jars with buttercream frosting. Cover lightly, leaving a 1/8 inch seam in one side. (If omitting, refrigerate remaining cookie mixture until ready to use.) Store cookies in refrigerator.
