I had much higher hopes for this recipe than reality. It was creamy and left my fingertip buttery. I steamed some as I powdered the rest. Biggest mistake I have ever made ... PRETTY LATE! Used 2 Tablespoons of butter and let it rise at room temperature--perfect! This was completely unnecessary and effortless. The next time I092 would suggest adding a layered dish top of some kind--they are very saturated which effect frosting can grow tough and rolly but they did make a really nice frosting and were very addicting. very clearly a mess, but otherwise a great frosting and yeast starter with great flavor.
