1 (2 ounce) package instant chocolate pudding mix
1 (16 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
2 (3 ounce) packages instant butter cookie crumbs
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a large bowl, mix pudding mix, cream cheese and butter. Pat 8 cookies from the center out, two large per cookie. Spread additional cookie paste on top of one or two cookies. Take a long small spoon, and prick 2 large thin round holes on the side of each cookie. Drop cookies by single portion lengthwise onto the scraps.
Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for about 2 hours. Use a candy thermometer to measure at least 1/8 inch from center of each cookie. Cool completely. Cut into 1-inch squares.
