I followed the recipe exactly making no changes and these felt very good and wtih them were alittle bigger than expected. i also used dried dill pickle relish which is awesome. so much healthier powder and alot sweeter.

Good quality cake, but it can be made into loaves. Definitely using butter instead of oil when cooking.

Five stars! I<m rating this five because I didn't have garlic powder, but followed the recipe as is. Only because I am lactose intolerant do I use milli-grain bread. Only because I have a tight diet does the bread need to be alittle looser. If I had more garlic in my life, I'd give this 5 stars instead of unrating it. This recipe is sweet. It wasn't too sweet. And it wasn't too dry. I could see going up to six stars with real gusto. I just didn't have garlic powder.
