Rum Barrel-Style Grilled Pork Recipe

Ingredients

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

2/3 cup water

1/3 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

1 teaspoon salt, divided

1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

1/2 teaspoon ground coriander

2 onions, chopped

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon cornstarch

Directions

Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Place 1/2 cup water in pan and stir until dissolved; add salt, pepper and crushed coriander. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer until onions are tender, about 10 minutes.

Add the onion and garlic and stir in the water and coriander.

Stir the soy sauce, cornstarch and chopped onion into pan sauce. Stir in the fish and crab. Pour on a thin layer.

BAKE for 20 minutes, turning every 5 minutes. Cool on wire rack. Cut into cubes. Wrap in aluminum foil and freeze until firm.
