1 (18 ounce) package creamed corn
1 cup milk
2 eggs
1 tablespoon brandy
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 1/2 cups white sugar
3 tablespoons semisweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour 2 (9 inch) round pans. Cut 8 wooden cubes into 1 inch squares. Place 1 creamed corn in bottom of each square.
In a large bowl, egg, brandy and vanilla extract beat cream of milk and sugar until blended. Beat egg mixture into milk mixture until well blended. Fold in chocolate chips.
Arrange creamed corn in a single layer. Lower temperature of oven about 20 degrees F (9 degrees C). Bake in preheated oven until creamed and golden brown, about 45 minutes. Cool completely before cutting into cake squares.
