Chocolate Easter Egg Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter, softened

1/2 cup packed light brown sugar

1 (15 ounce) can evaporated milk

1 egg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup white sugar

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup milk

Directions

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.

In a large bowl, cream together the butter and brown sugar until smooth. Beat in the evaporated milk, egg, and vanilla. Combine the flour, baking powder, salt, milk, and egg mixture. Mix until moistened. Drop by tablespoons into the prepared cookie sheets.

Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
