Spicy Mexican Salad Recipe

Ingredients

1 (12 ounce) package angel hair pasta

1/2 pound ground beef

1 (16 ounce) can green salsa

1 (15 ounce) can diced tomatoes with green chile peppers

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

1 small onion, sliced

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon ground cumin

Directions

Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.

To the pot add beef, salsa, tomatoes with green chile peppers, salt, pepper, oil and onion. Saute over medium heat until beef is browned; drain.

Meanwhile, heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Saute onion and garlic until lightly browned, then add to skillet. Add meat and stir until meat is evenly browned. Sprinkle with cumin, then pour over meat and veggies. Mix well and simmer for at least 30 minutes.
