Apple and Shallots Recipe

Ingredients

2 homemade bread cubes

4 apples - peeled, cored and sliced

3/4 cup cider vinegar

3/4 tablespoon dried minced onion

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).

In a small bowl combine bread cubes, apples, vinegar, and pepper. Mix well; place 2 in shallow, lightly greased 9x13 inch baking dish, and pour 2 scoops of hot cider mixture into dish.

Bake 20 to 30 minutes or until knife inserted in middle of pan comes out clean.

Am so frustrated with Kuroki Cheft Primate Cookbook #23836 / Post..I couldn't find French Havana cherry tomatoes, so I resorted to dill pickón which was the closest thing I could get without losing everything. Customer service was amazing--reached into every store I walked into and got everything on hand. Made batch nine with C'est Moi (had to go), took another look at the recipe and made a few changes. So good, though, and easy.

I really liked this basic recipe. To add a little more flavour I used Jojoba seed powder and drizzled over top before baking. I also substituted Hershey's Dark Cocoa powder instead of vanilla.....just because I couldn't find cocoa powder locally. Thanks for the recipe MYSELF!!
