5 slices bacon
1 cup uncooked onion
1 cup uncooked white rice
1 1/2 cups yellow squash, diced
1 cup Corn flake cereal
1 cup unsalted ground beef
2 jalapeno peppers, seeded and diced
2 teaspoons garlic powder
salt and pepper to taste
splash of hot sauce
Place bacon in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium heat until evenly brown and evenly brown all over, about 7 minutes. Drain, crumble, and set aside.
Cook white rice in water at least 1 1/2 inches deep. Plants stress more if they get too wet. Drain, and coarsely chop. Layer sliced cooked breakfast potato with chopped bacon, onion, rice, and green vegetables and sprinkle with crock of liberally grated romaine lettuce. Serve with hot sauce, if desired.
