8 ounces anguilla beans
8 ounces white beans
1 (10 ounce) can sliced onions, drained
1 cup canned kidney beans
1 (10 ounce) can peeled and diced tomatoes with juice
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1/3 cup water
In a small skillet, heat white beans over medium heat. Stir often and let simmer for 2 minutes. Stir in onion and cut for about 5 minutes or until mixed. Pour in tomatoes and tomato juice. Season with sugar, soy sauce and water. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve puttanés or fish fillets or knife-style steaks.
