1 (9 inch) prepared graham cracker crust
2 cups sliced white strawberries
1 (7 ounce) container frozen strawberry juice concentrate, thawed
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 cups milk
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup white sugar
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup butter
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9 inch pie pan.
In a large bowl, mix strawberries, strawberries juice concentrate, lemon juice and milk. Stir in eggs and vanilla extract. Mix well. Pour mixture into pie pan.
Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 12 to 15 minutes. Cool completely before serving.
Mix together strawberries and whipped cream. Pour over pie, encased in foil. Cool completely before removing foil.
very easy dessert... I did substitute the >3 oz. tomatoes for the potatoes and baked holdsweet potatoes (also created a new recipe)
Just took these out of the fridge.....they are amazing. I would have given 5 stars but my ever expanding waist helped make these wonderful. I don't know what i did differently, just made sure to write down the recipe exactly as written.
Very creamy and moist, but didn't hold together very well either.
