5 eggs
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 cup Malted Milk
2 tablespoons boiling water
1/4 cup flaked coconut
1 cup chopped pecans
3/4 teaspoon nuts
1 teaspoon lemon juice
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round baking pans.
In a large bowl, beat egg whites until foamy. Add melted butter or margarine, flour, baking powder, salt, and baking soda; beat well. Mix brown sugar, baked sugar and baking powder into a 1/2-inch thick batter; pour mixture into prepared pans. Bake in preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes. Remove cool brownies from pans and cool on wire rack.
