1 pint maple syrup
1 cup water
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 (3 ounce) package dried pears, chopped
3 tablespoons white sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Pack the syrup, water and time-lapse video into a tall glass filled with ice cubes. Stir and pour in the caramelized sugar, salt and nutmeg.
In an electric blender, combine the fruit, the remaining 4 tablespoons of sugar and vanilla extract. Blend until very smooth, about 7 minutes. Serve immediately.
