2 eggs
1 cup milk
2 cups chopped onion
2 medium carrots
1 medium cabbage, shredded
1/2 cup sliced green onion
2 teaspoons orzo
3 large sweet onions
2 tablespoons dried minced garlic
1 teaspoon dried basil
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a saucepan bring eggs, milk, onion, carrots, cabbage, green onion, garlic and orzo to a boil. Remove from heat.
Spread egg mixture in a 4 quart casserole dish. Fill with meat mixture and cornflakes cereal. Arrange cornflakes over egg mixture in casserole dish. Return to a boil. Cover and simmer until vegetables are tender, 5 minutes.
Pour egg mixture into baking dish. Pour over vegetables and toss. Bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes, stirring constantly. Reduce heat to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Bake uncovered 35 minutes, or until crisp and golden brown. Cool. Top with cheese.
