Angela's Carrot Cake Recipe

Ingredients

1 (18 ounce) package white cake mix

1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

3/4 cup vegetable oil

1 1/2 cups vegetable oil

1 1/2 cups white sugar

1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1 (12 ounce) can refrigerated raisins

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour 2 (9 inch) round pans.

In a large bowl, stir together the cake mix, cream cheese and oil until well blended. Beat in the sugar, then stir in the vanilla and raisins. Pour batter into prepared pans.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Cool slightly, then move onto a wire rack to cool completely.
