1 cup butter, softened
2 eggs
1/2 cup mayonnaise
3 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
1 cup chopped onion
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 loaf French bread, cut in 1 inch cubes
In a medium bowl, beat together butter, eggs, mayonnaise, cream cheese and onion. Stir in pepper, and let stand for 5 minutes.
Sprinkle fritchettes evenly over cream cheese mixture. Chill bread cubes in refrigerator.
Remove fritchettes from refrigerator. Serve warm bread with cream cheese and onions.
