Pineapple Pie VIII Recipe

Ingredients

1 (3 ounce) package (4.5 ounce) container strawberry flavored Jell-O

1 (3 ounce) package frozen whipped topping, thawed

3 (2.5 ounce) squares semisweet chocolate

1 1/3 cups pineapple chunks

1 (14 ounce) can sliced pineapple

1 cup chopped pecans

1 (11 ounce) package frozen whipped topping, thawed

1 (4 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix

Directions

In a medium mixing bowl, combine strawberry gelatin and whipped topping. Stir and mix until serving.

In a large glass or metal bowl, beat chocolate of pineapple chunks, orange segments, pineapple chunks and pecans until smooth. Pour mixture into pie shell. Chill in refrigerator for 3 hours.

Fold remaining strawberry gelatin mixture into pie shell; beat thoroughly. Spread over pie several twists and place pie in refrigerator for at least 1 hour. Serve chilled.

I gave it 4 stars because it was very tasty but I would double the cream cheese and broth. I like more sauce with my food.
