1/4 cup vegetable oil
2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
1/4 cup coarse sea salt
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 (4 pound) wild boar, cut into 1/2 inch thick strips
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 medium onion, sliced into 1 inch slices
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil pesto
1 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon crushed black pepper
Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat. Spoon steaks into a shallow pan. Rub both sides of steaks with oil, tightly. Brush steaks with olive oil.
Heat 2 tablespoons of marinade
Saute steaks in 2 tablespoons olive oil for 2 minutes on each side. Brush steak with remaining marinade oil and marinate for 5 minutes. Remove steaks from pan.
Combine remaining marinade with brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, oregano, basil and salt. Pour mixture over steaks.
