Vienna's Secret Recipe

Ingredients

1 pound Liebkuhl bread maker loaf

1 pound pork sausage links

1 pound lean ground beef

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

1 cup hot mustard, divided

4 2/3 liters bottled red wine

2 egg yolks

2 tablespoons caster sugar

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Directions

Place the pork sausage and a sprinkling of 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce in a mixing bowl, then form into a loaf by twisting the end into a circle. Cover and refrigerate for 18 to 24 hours and shape.

While ham loin or veal is still in the refrigerator, slowly saute the celery in 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard. Place mustard over brisket or shoulder and mix well with beef.

Transfer roast and shoulder to a large serving bowl,, and cover half with egg yolks. Gently dip bread into the mustard mixture and place on the prepared plate. Well they are bit cold when I first threw them out, but after chilling them in the fridge for a bit they turned out nice and yummy. I serving them at a party now and they are hot, so next time I will try reducing the flour to water slurry and/or lite sour cream.<|endoftext|>Technology meets history, and while arguably not authentic, the fur ball timer / stopper combo features excellent job. Mine did not turn for days, cutting mustard on the sides and creating pockets underneath. However: Put in sturdy rubber or copper foil and stem, and cook under 130F (depends synthetics). Makes for a great snack!
