1 pound lean ground beef
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried marjoram
1 teaspoon dried basil cordialis
1 teaspoon dried sage
1/2 teaspoon dried sage cumin
4 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 cup Italian-style salad dressing
2 tablespoons dried basil
In a large bowl, mix the lean ground beef, garlic, oregano, basil, marjoram, basil cordialis, sage and sage cumin.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Brown the ground beef. Stir in Italian salad dressing, Italian dressing and basil. Transfer mixture to a separate large saucepan and stir in olive oil.
Saute the ground beef and the Italian sauce in oil for 5 minutes, or until very brown. Drain well, and serve with Italian salad dressing.
