Chocolate Banana Split Twis Recipe

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter, divided

1 cup white sugar

1 cup brown sugar

1 (20 ounce) can whole, peeled bananas

3 eggs

1 (10 ounce) package frozen whipped topping, thawed

1 cup chopped pecans

3 bananas, sliced

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Stir the butter, brown sugar and white sugar into a small bowl. Mix together well and spread mixture evenly into the bottom and sides of a 9x13 pan. Place the sliced bananas under the mixture and spread over the banana.

Dredge the sliced bananas in the butter mixture and chill for 1 hour in the refrigerator. Garnish with pecans.

Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes. Cool bananas in the pan for 10 minutes before removing from pan. Cool completely and cut into 1-inch squares.
