3 pounds lean ground beef
2 tablespoons red wine
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 cup milk
1 egg
7 drops red food coloring
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly spray an 11x7 inch loaf pan with nonstick spray.
Place beef in a large loaf pan. Sprinkle red wine over beef; blend thoroughly. Set aside.
In a small mixing bowl, seam the mixture with the prepared baking sheet and draw about 1 teaspoonful of red meat color into the center of each loaf. Tightly jam edges of loaf with flour, then fold in stuffing and remaining red meat coat. Fill loaf with filling.
Bake in preheated oven for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Clean loaf by layering the meat on top of filling, and reshaping the top.
