1 1/2 cups sliced fresh strawberries
2 cups strawberries with cream
1 (12 ounce) package vanilla pudding mix
1 2/3 cups milk
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 (8 ounce) can sliced pecans
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease and flour two 8 inch cake pans.
Stir strawberries and cream into the pudding mix to make a smooth texture. Beat in milk one at a time. Spread fruit over cake while stirring. Place pecans on top of cake.
Bake in the preheated oven 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean. Cool cake completely before removing from fruit. Cool completely before cutting.
