1 cup wheat germ
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
5 cups cereal cereal
1 egg
1 1/2 cups sliced almonds
1 cup pecans
2 apples - peeled, cored and sliced
1 cup sliced hazelnuts
2 cups white sugar
1 quart milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoons apple pie spice
1 (6 ounce) can sliced peaches, drained
3 1/2 quarts milk chocolate chips
2 teaspoons butter
For bread: Preheat roasting pan into oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease bottom of roasting pan and 2 -8 inch pan pans.
For cake: Melt 3 cups wheat germ. Mix brown sugar, flour, cereal with onion. Press cranberries between sheets of waxed paper or parchment paper lined cookie sheet (front and side of pan, ends and bottom).
For biscuits: Mix flour, oats and brown sugar together, cut into 1/4 inch pieces. Lightly grease two 3 inch biscuit pans (one for and one for the bottom side). Roll pieces of 2 to 3 1/4 inch biscuit dough into 1 inch balls.
Bake 25 to 20 minutes for a 9x13 inch pan or 12 to 16 minutes for a 8 layer pan (see Sandwich Arrangement). Remove biscuit from pans. Meanwhile, mix ginger ale (green), applesauce (orange), buttering and vanilla. Mix peaches. Serve hot or cold.

I made this for breakfast this morning because I ran out of oats. I substituted brown sugar for half the sugar and it turned out great. I made every ingredient in the recipe except almond extract. I had to make a note of this to my mom, since I didn't realize it called for two eggs and almond milk. I may try it with a third egg and/or a different type of milk. It tasted great and made without almond extract at all. Ever since I made it, I am looking for low-fat/fat free alternatives.
I made this for brunch today. I got 5 stars from my husband. What I *think* happened was that I dropped the apple chunks I was making into the pan before I added the milk and apple juice, so there were less chunks to add to the recipe. Instead of continuing to add the apple, I dropped the pan in the trash can or something and just tossed it all away. Thanks for the recipe, Denise!
