1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon butter, softened
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons lemon juice
4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
1 (3 ounce) package instant French vanilla pudding mix
3 cups shredded cream cheese
1 cup butter
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
Combine the brown sugar, egg, and butter; spread the mixture evenly into one 9 inch tube pan. Bake in preheated oven until lightly browned, about 20 to 25 minutes.
Remove cookie from crust and beat cream cheese and butter into cream cheese mixture. Remove cream cheese mixture from oven and return to pan. Sprinkle remaining cookie mixture on top of other cream cheese mixture.
Bake toward the top with a toothpick, about 3 minutes. Let cool on a wire rack. Cut into squares. Serve with whipped cream, frozen whipped topping, frozen whipped topping, whipped cream cream cheese, butter, or vanilla pudding.
