1 (18.25 ounce) package cake mix
1 (3 ounce) package instant coconut cream pudding mix
1 (3 ounce) package instant coconut cream pudding mix
4 eggs
2 cups white sugar
3 cups water
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (16 ounce) package vanilla wafers
1 (16 ounce) can lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage
1 teaspoon lemon extract
1 cup butter or margarine
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour 2 8 inch round cake pans.
Put bowl or knife in crepe or jelly; pour sugar mixture over cake. Mix egg into cake batter. Sprinkle with 1 cup of lemon-lime flavored carbonated soda. Mix remaining lemon-lime soda with confectioners' sugar. Spread over cake.
Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted near center of the cake comes out clean. Allow to cool, then frost with lemon-lime frosting. Chill before serving.
