1/2 cup butter
1 cup milk
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
3 tablespoons white sugar
4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
8 ounces ricotta cheese
Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C).
In a large bowl, cream together butter and milk. Mix in cream cheese, sugar, flour, and salt. Beat for 5 to 10 minutes with an electric mixer or until smooth. Pour mixture into a 9x5 inch baking dish; sprinkle with ricotta cheese.
Bake at 300 degrees F (150 degrees C) for 1/2 hour. Top with cream cheese rind. Bake 20 to 25 minutes longer. Stop baking after 20 minutes.
