1/2 cup heavy cream
2 tablespoons white sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 egg whites
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 ΒΌ inches pastry shell - baked
1 egg white
1 tablespoon white sugar
3 sprigs fresh mint leaves, finely chopped
2 oranges, peeled and pitted
3 cups graham cracker crumbs
1 (3 ounce) package frozen whipped topping, thawed
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). Grease a 10 inch (12 gram) pie pan.
In a medium bowl, cream together the cream cheese, 1 cup of sugar and 1/2 teaspoons of salt. Beat in the egg whites, then pour over the cream cheese mixture.
Bake 15 minutes in the preheated oven, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the pie comes out clean. Allow to cool before serving.
Spread whipped topping over pie and decorate with a mint sprig of fresh mint.
