1 pound fresh sweet corn, stems removed
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
2 large onions, chopped
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
salt to taste
ground black pepper to taste
2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
2 teaspoons crushed red pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground fresh oregano
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 ripe tomato, diced
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Stir in onion, garlic salt, salt, pepper, cilantro and parsley. Saute for 10 minutes, then stir in cayenne pepper, black pepper, tomato and red pepper. Cook for 5 minutes more. Remove skillet from heat and stir in cilantro and parsley.
