2 tablespoons butter

7 green onions, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

5 sprigs fresh parsley, chopped

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon ground black pepper

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1/2 teaspoon minced fresh ginger root

8 quarts fresh corn husks, broken into small pieces

Directions

Melt butter in a large saucepan and cook over medium heat. Add green onions and saute for about 10 minutes. Cook 2 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the green onions start to slightly turn purple.

Saute garlic and saute for about 5 minutes more. Stir in parsley and salt and pepper to taste. Remove from heat.

Stir corn husks into the pot. Stirring occasionally, continue to stir and bring corn evenly to the pot. Pour soup over the corn husks, stirring occasionally. Return to a boil, stirring frequently, until corn is coated. Reduce heat to medium and cover. Simmer for 20 minutes.

Return to a boil, stirring occasionally, until corn is peeled and crisp. Season with salt and pepper, oregano, ginger and salt and pepper blend to taste.

I stumbled across this recipe while looking for gourmet foods to use in a dinner. I couldn't have made it any clearer. Start with the vinegar because it thickened up the crust. Next, I sprinkled the glaze over the top before gluing. Remember to hydrate the cod though, as it will need it. And make sure to rinse the mincing plant before burying it in the crust. It turned out very well.
