1 cup butter, softened
1 cup white sugar
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 pinch salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup chopped bananas
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 8x8 inch pan.
In a medium bowl, cream together the butter, sugar, egg, flour, baking powder, and salt until smooth. Stir in the vanilla. Spread evenly into the prepared pan.
Bake in the preheated oven for 60 to 70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean. Allow to cool completely.
In a large bowl, combine bananas and butter cream. Adjust the serving size as needed for each individual serving.
