1 cup butter
2 1/2 cups white sugar
2 eggs
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup chopped pecans
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
In a medium bowl, cream together the butter, 1 cup white sugar and 2 1/2 cups sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, mixing between each addition after each mixing. Stir in the milk, 1 teaspoon vanilla and pecans. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven, until nearly set. Remove from cookie sheets to cool on wire rack.
