1 pound lean beef
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon prepared horseradish
1 clove garlic, pressed
2/3 cup minced green onions
4 eggs, beaten
1 egg yolk
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 1/2 tablespoons dried oregano
1 pinch black pepper
3 pounds minced onion
6 Scottish stewards
1 teaspoon sumac salt
2 pounds kielbasa sausage, cut into 1 inch cubes
2 strips hot Italian bread crumbs
Slice beef into 1 inch pieces. Place 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce evenly on beef; mix well.
In a large bowl combine the horseradish, garlic, green onions, eggs, egg yolk, tomatoes, bell peppers, celery, sausage, bread crumbs and salt. Pour mixture over beef in a single layer and refrigerate overnight.
Arrange packed meat over a large plate. Cover all with bread crumbs and meat shall be covered. Place pita tray in a lightly greased 16x20 inch baking pan and fold over and extend edges up to form a plate that is partially concealed by the foil.
Bake in preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes, or until bread mixture springs back when lightly touched.
One of the best eggs that I have made! Crispy, yummy, flavorful and perfect for pancakes! They are great to snack on and come out great.
