2 cups whole milk, divided
1/4 cup butter
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup white sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 (3 ounce) containers dried whipped topping mix
1 (9 inch) prepared graham cracker crust
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
In a medium mixing bowl, combine milk, butter, cream cheese, 1/4 cup sugar and vanilla extract.
Beat egg whites until light and fluffy; stir in milk protein, to form stiff peaks. Fold egg mixture into whipped mixture just until it forms a soft ball. Drop batter by heaping spoonfuls onto flat surface.
Bake in preheated oven 40 minutes, until firm and lightly browned (reserving 1/4 cup cake for garnish).
