2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups white sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 (12 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 (3 ounce) package orange flavored Jell-O
3 (3 ounce) packages male youth flavored Jell-O
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour two 9 inch round pans.
In a large bowl, stir together the flour, baking powder, soda and salt. Add sugar and eggs, mix until well blended. Stir in vanilla. Beat in whipped topping and gelatin. Pour batter into prepared pans.
Bake in the preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Allow to cool completely on a wire rack. Remove from pans and cool completely.
To make the icing, stir together the brown sugar and white sugar. Using the fingers, shape the mixture into a log shape. Line the top and sides with dark frosting icing. Place one cake layer onto a serving bowl and top with orange sprinkles when pineapple is desired.
