1 pound ground pork
1/3 cup butter, melted
1 cup grated Romano cheese
1 cup peeled and sliced onion
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried rosemary
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon vinegar
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a medium bowl, combine the pork, melted butter and cheese; mix well. Spread mixture evenly into a 2 quart casserole dish. Sprinkle with onion, basil, oregano, rosemary, oregano, salt, chili powder and basil seasoning. Sprinkle with oil.
Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes.
While the pork is baking, prepare the sausage according to package directions. Drain pork and return to pan. Butter, brown, drain and toss with butter mixture.
Bake for an additional 10 minutes. Remove pork from oven and reduce fat content. Slice into 1/2 inch pieces. Fill preheated oven with 1 cup of sausage mixture.
Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 15 minutes. Remove from oven and immediately brush with egg white of pork. Return to oven and brush with vinegar. Continue cooking for about 1 to 2 minutes or until bubbly.
