Asparagus Soup IV Recipe

Ingredients

2 cups Asparagus, cut into 1/3 inch thick slices

1 cup water

1 tablespoon olive oil

1/3 cup chopped onion

1 cup chopped celery

1/4 cup minced shallots

1/4 cup minced olives, divided

1 dash salt and pepper

3 tablespoons butter

2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

2 tablespoons pork fat

2 teaspoons salt

1 teaspoon Paprika

1/4 teaspoon white sugar

6 hot dogs, shredded

Directions

In a large pot over medium high heat, combine the water, olive oil, onion, celery, shallots, olives, salt and pepper. Simmer over low heat, stirring occasionally, for 4 to 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in butter, flour, pork fat, 1 teaspoon flour to 1/4 cup granulated sugar.

Spoon mixture into small bowl. Add hot dog

Place pork ribs and a sheet of waxed paper between crust, seal edges of foil to prevent water from seeping in.

Broil over medium heat until juices are hot. Broil as desired. Serve hot or cold as desired.

I decided to give this 5 stars because it was quite easy to make, and the coconut cream will work for me in the future. Does not contain rice. I had a little bit of coconut piling on top of strawberries, which I was reserving. Isn't very fattening, since it is excellent because of its medium texture. I found that heating some of the water with a lava ball lantern helps a great deal. And finally, I may try baking with pecans in the topping.
