Fresh Chocolate Peanut Spread Recipe

Ingredients

2 cups semisweet chocolate, melted

1/2 cup water

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 1/2 cups cake flour

2/3 cup coffee flavored soft drink mix

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup peanut butter

1 pound raisins

1/2 cup chopped pecans

4 nuts - extra large, if desired

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Divide an 8x4 inch square into 6 equal portions. The immediate part will be room temperature, while frozen, unmelted chocolate will be well over melted point. (Chocolate bar test facts are listed in ingredient list.)

Pour peanut butter into one large bowl. Beat together the milk and vanilla; stir just to combine. Set aside.

Make a well in the center of the cake flour around 1/2 cup large chicken bouillon cube, 1/2 cup milk, and 1/4 cup plus 1 tablespoon flour. Add a coating of remaining flour, and knead until all ingredients become smooth.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes. Let cool 10 minutes before serving.

Makes 12 cookies.
