Ben's Famous Rolls II Recipe

Ingredients

4 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder

1 teaspoon salt

1 cup beer

1 cup hamburger broth

2 cloves garlic, crushed

1 1/2 teaspoons dried parsley

1 teaspoon dried basil

2 teaspoons butter

1 teaspoon dried rosemary

1 cup water

Directions

Combine Italian spread and bread crumbs in small bowl. Roll loaves continuously until rolls are moistened. Place seam side down onto prepared baking or greased baking sheet.

Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Turn loaves and continue to bake about 20 minutes longer or until very lightly browned. Turn into a zig zag pattern for easier drying.

While rolls are baking, soak the bread crumbs in a small bowl; press firmly onto bottoms of loaves from one side to the other. Cool completely. Dry and sprinkle with remaining garlic powder, salt, beer, hamburger broth and garlic powder mixture. Lay onto other loaves or sheets or broil. Cool and serve warm.
