1 (16 ounce) package shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup chopped onion
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1 medium head romaine lettuce greens
2 teaspoons chopped fresh parsley
1/2 cup chopped red pepper
2 tablespoons cooked miso soup
1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley
In a large bowl, mix cheese, onion, parsley, green and red peppers. Shape mixture into one roll or more rolls depending on your taste. Lay rolls out onto a few artful plastic sheets. Wrap each roll in plastic wrap to keep them in place.
Brush greens with 1/2 cup of the dressing mixture. Sprinkle with parsley.
Using a pastry bag or knife, knife into lettuce and place roughly in center of roll until completely coated.
Cut rolls into 1/2 inch squares. Place rolls onto a serving platter with their vegetables facing inward (see video below for a demonstration).
Made Jack enjoy Spring Cleaning in an entertaining social situation. This turned out well. Politeness banked and flew by the tail.
I was so excited to make this and was expecting so much more. Non of my guest liked it and they all tried it. To bland, the texture was off.Mostly my guest said it was just to bland they like the apple and the idea but it needed a lot more flavor.
