I barely want to have to deal with the slushie ever again
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup margarine
1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup milk
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons sifted confectioners' sugar
In a large bowl, mix sugar, sour cream, margarine, lemon juice, vanilla, milk and flour until smooth. Mix dough into a workable shape.
Cover dough with plastic wrap, and refrigerate overnight. Roll out to 1/4 inch thickness on cookie sheets. Place slushie shape into sheet, and press down to fit.
When ready to bake, place slushies on cookie sheet. Bake in two 2 inch pans (prepared for under 10). Cool for 5 minutes, then cover and refrigerate overnight. Lightly grease cookie sheets.
Assemble the slushies: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Slushies: On a floured surface, roll out dough. Cut into 1 inch squares. Place a teaspoon of the caramelized sugar onto the center of a square. Brush lightly with egg white. Spread slushies on the baking sheet. Dust lightly with confectioners' sugar.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow to cool before cutting into squares.<|endoftext|>Back to school Recipe
